In Kenya, as later in Zimbabwe, I visited local initiatives and documented the diverse HIV/AIDS prevention work there for fundraising activities in Germany. In addition, I took part in some empowerment workshops, mainly at regional schools, where I focused on the topic of communication. The activities took place in Nairobi and in the rural areas in the north-west of Nairobi (around Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret).
