Zwei Jahrzehnte Arbeit in internationalen Projekten, Programmen und Akademien stellen einen besonderen Erfahrungshorizont dar. Neben der Arbeit mit den Menschen in den jeweiligen Ländern geht es darum, in der Auseinandersetzung mit den Bedingungen vor Ort eigene Ansätze zu überprüfen und weiterzuentwickeln. Denn nur mit einem globalen Verständnis kann in einer globalen Welt auch auf lokale Herausforderungen eingegangen werden.

Seit über 20 Jahren tätig in Mittel- und Südosteuropa (Kosovo, Polen, Rumänien, Serbien, Tschechische Republik), Mittlerer Osten (Palästina, Israel), Nordafrika (Libyen, Tunesien), Ostafrika (Kenia), südliches Afrika (Simbabwe). Regelmäßige Arbeitsaufenthalte in Dänemark, Schweden, Russland. Überwiegend Short-Term-Aktivitäten, die aber in langfristigen Projekten eingebunden sind.
Parallel dazu habe ich das Freiwilligenkolleg der Robert Bosch Stiftung von 2008 bis 2014 geleitet und entwickelt, so dass ich mich intensiv mit den Themen Freiwilligenarbeit und Freiwilligendiensten auseinandersetzen konnte.
