Exchange Seminar »Successfully Shaping Local Politics«
German and Polish local politicians are to exchange their experiences and develop guidelines for successful local politics in a workshop. The three central questions are: How can continuity be created in local politics? How can greater proximity to citizens be created? How can the competence and professionalism of local politicians be strengthened? In addition to an intensive workshop phase in which problems and possible solutions are analysed and discussed, an excursion into practice – by visiting the municipal office of the Warsaw district of Praga South and talking to local staff on site – is also planned. Following this workshop, a small publication will be produced to serve as a guide for local political elected officials.
Tasks: Seminar conception and implementation of the seminar in Poland.
